What does "WYSIWYG" mean?

WYSIWYG (pronounced "wiz-ee-wig") is an acronym for "what you see is what you get". It is a type of rich text editor that allows the user to see what the end product will look like while the document is being created.

Habitat uses WYSIWYG to make the user experience easier as well as more thoughtful. Text and elements entered into our WYSIWYG environment instantly convert to HTML behind the scenes, making it easy for both technical and non-technical users to make beautiful documents.
