What do I do if Inkling crashes?

If you have experienced a crash with the app, please send your crash report to support@inkling.com so we can help.

Follow the steps below based on the operating system you are on. Make sure to first sync/connect your device to your computer with your iTunes account.

iPad/iPhone:

Gathering Crash Reports on Mac OS X

  1. Go to the Finder by clicking on your Desktop.
  2. Select "Go" → "Go to Folder…" from the menu.
  3. Enter ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice in the dialog.
  4. Open the folder named after your device's name.
  5. Select crash logs which contain the name of the app you are having problems with. Please save the logs in their original .crash format.

Gathering Crash Reports on Windows XP

  1. Open Windows Explorer.
  2. Enter C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter\<your iPad's name>\ in the path bar.
  3. Select crash logs which contain the name of the app you are having problems with. Please save the logs in their original .crash format.

Gathering Crash Reports on Windows Vista or 7

  1. Open Windows Explorer
  2. Enter Enter C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\<your iPad’s name>\ in the path bar.
  3. Select crash logs which contain the name of the app you are having problems with. Please save the logs in their original .crash format.
