Your Inkling Axis Library has a list of Inkdocs that are available to you. You must be logged in to see a library.
View an Inkdoc on a desktop
Click an Inkdoc to open it in your browser. The navigation pane displays on the left and contains the Content, Notebook, and Glossary icons and the Search bar. Click the My Library icon at the top left to return to your Axis Library. Click the X at the upper right to hide the navigation pane.
Download an Inkdoc for mobile apps
In the Inkling Axis mobile apps, you must first download an Inkdoc to read it.
The image shows Inkdocs in a library. A cloud icon indicates that you have not downloaded the Inkdoc.
Tap the thumbnail image to access the Inkdoc, and select the option to download. Once the download is complete, you can read all of the content—even if you are offline.
Inkdocs that you have not downloaded display with a cloud icon.
This example shows a download page on a mobile device.
You can also set a view option to display only downloaded Inkdocs. See Show only downloaded Inkdocs.
Note: Currently, the Table of Contents (TOC) display for the Android Axis app is different from the web and iOS app experience. The Android Axis TOC does not display nested pages. This means that a page might link to other pages that do not appear in the TOC.
Watch videos online or offline
Inkdocs can include two types of video content. You must be online to view videos hosted on sites like YouTube and Vimeo.
Axis mobile apps also support videos that are embedded in the content. You can view these videos while online, or download the content to your mobile device and watch the video while offline.
Tip: Large video files can impact your device’s performance. For Inkdocs with embedded video content that you can view while offline, we recommend that you download and view one chapter at a time.
