Important: If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO), you won’t see the interfaces shown below. Instead, you’ll use a different interface to manage your Axis passwords. Contact your administrator for help and more information.
1. Click Forgot password? on the Axis login screen.
2. Enter your username. If you cannot remember your username, contact your administrator.
3. Axis either sends you a password reset email or displays a window with your security questions. The sections below show these options.
A confirmation message displays when you successfully reset the password.
Password reset email
If you have a valid email address associated with your Inkling user account, Axis sends you an email that includes a password reset button and link that are active for one hour. Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.
If your Inkling user account does not have a valid email address, Axis displays a page with the security questions that you set up during your initial registration. If all your answers match, you can reset your password. If you do not remember the answers to your security questions, contact your Inkling administrator.
