What do I do if Inkling crashes?

Uh oh. We’re sorry about that. If you have experienced a crash with the app, please send us your crash report at support@inkling.com to help us solve the problem.

To send us your crash reports, follow the steps below based on the operating system you are on. Make sure to first sync your iPad with your iTunes account.

Gathering Crash Reports on Mac OS X

  1. Go to the Finder by clicking on your Desktop.
  2. Select "Go" → "Go to Folder…" from the menu.
  3. Enter ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice in the dialog.
  4. Open the folder named after your device's name.
  5. Select crash logs which contain the name of the app you are having problems with.

Gathering Crash Reports on Windows XP

  1. Open Windows Explorer.
  2. Enter C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter\<your iPad's name>\ in the path bar.
  3. Select crash logs which contain the name of the app you are having problems with.

Gathering Crash Reports on Windows Vista or 7

  1. Open Windows Explorer
  2. Enter Enter C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\<your iPad’s name>\ in the path bar.
  3. Select crash logs which contain the name of the app you are having problems with.
